VFW Post 2266 Sr Vice Commander

It has been a good year and is now time for our new leadership team to take over.

Our Buddy Poppy Drive will be May 23-26, PLEASE come out and volunteer a couple hours. This is a great way to educate the community about what the VFW is all about. Additionally all the proceeds go to our relief fund to do our programs and help those Veteran Families in need, support our youth sport events, and other needs within our community. Without this fund we limit ourselves in doing what we are all about in supporting our Veterans and community.
We have several events planned for the upcoming year. To start off with we will be conducting our Flag Retirement ceremony June 14th at 1100. This is always a great event and teaches our community about our Flag and the proper way to retire it. Please come out and enjoy yourselves.
Remember volunteers are essential. We cannot operate without you.

Have you considered becoming a “Life” member?  This saves money in the long run.

Payment Plan Terms & Conditions  VFW Life Membership installment plan allows any VFW member/applicant to purchase a Life Membership by making either installment after an initial payment of $45.00 starting January 1st 2014. The member will be issued an annual membership card and can elect, upon receipt of the first monthly invoice, to pay via check, credit card or ACH Debit. The applicable Life Membership fee is to be determined from the schedule using the applicant’s age on Dec. 31 of the installment plan year in which the application is submitted, regardless of actual date of birth. A permanent Life Membership card will be issued upon completion of this agreement.

Why We're Here

VFW Post 2266 brings a lot of help and opportunity to our veterans. We also have things to offer to our community, such as fundraising for local school sports teams and programs like J.R.O.T.C. VFW Harbour-Record Post 2266 holds regular Veteran Events as well as Civilian Events that can be scheduled in advance. Our VFW Post also has an in-house canteen to provide refreshments for those events. For our veterans we can offer services such as assistance with V.A. disability claims and even liaison with other agencies to get Veterans in need the help they require and deserve. Members enjoy lively weekends at VFW Post 2266 with either live music or karaoke on Friday's. We enjoy broadcasting sporting events on our big screen TV as well as the flat screen in the canteen. Our VFW Auxiliaries do a wonderful job preparing meals on a daily basis at a nominal price. There are games to be played at VFW Post 2266 such as regular dart tournaments but also areas to be enjoyed as a family such as our children's playground. VFW Harbour-Record Post 2266 tries to make sure there is something here for everyone and we hope you will come down to see for your self.

We have links in our navigation menu that will take you to many aspects of our VFW Post. Links to Veteran Administration sites as well as other departments in the V.F.W. and Veteran Organizations can be found at the bottom of the pages. You can also download things like our monthly published newsletter the Bugler, our monthly Calendar or even our R.V. Lot Rental Contract. We hope to see you at our Post soon...
