Brothers and Sisters
March and April have been great for the Post. All our Thursday and Friday nights have been attended well. The community involvement with the schools has given me a good feeling about the future of America. Our Veterans recognitions, ceremonies and tributes were very well attended by the Post and the community. Our doors are open every day; come down and relax, eat and make new friends, or reconnect with old friends while telling stories, Remember that our Post is only as good as the members that attend. Please come out and help when you can, it only takes a minute to tell someone you appreciate what they do for the Post. Find out what you can do for the Post each time you come
Have a Great Day

First things first, I would like to welcome Mike Amato aboard as our newest PCH member. Thank you Mike for all you have been doing around the post. Great Job!!
Second, I would to address some issues that we have been having at the post. We have BY-LAWS and RULES AND REGULATIONS that all post members shall follow. These are in place to protect the post and ourselves. Please use your best judgment and follow the protocol set forth by our post.
We have a chain of command; it needs to be used as such. Should you have a suggestion, comment or complaint, we have a suggestion box and forms for this. Please use it!!!
Should you have something URGET - I am happy to address it immediately if necessary. If you have an issue as far as a write up, due to misconduct, or something of that nature we have a protocol for that.
You must ask the bartender on duty for a “write up” sheet. Fill it out sign it, put it in a sealed envelope give it back to the bartender on duty. Then, the bartender that receives it will call me and inform me that there is an urgent matter. Otherwise, if I am at the post, you may give it to me and or any other PHC member. As any PHC member is able to accept it.
At which time the PHC will take the necessary steps to follow up with the report. Remember to sign it, without a signature all we can do is review it and no further action can be done. This is policy.
Please DO NOT grab me when I walk in the door and say I have a complaint to PHC about something around the post that is not up to your satisfaction. If there is something minor, i.e.; area around the BBQ grill is dirty, (which should be cleaned after each use by the person or person‘s using it, other than that it is the kitchen managers duty to keep it clean), cigarette butts on the ground, if you can handle this problem on your own please handle it. Pick up a rag or broom and take care it.
Please don’t tell me whose job it is or isn’t to do things around post!!! I do not need to be told whose jobs are whose. I am well aware of my position and others that have titles and my chain of command.
Please remember, if there is a problem that you would like to discuss with me privately, I am always available. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns that I may be able help you with immediately. My phone is 951-692-2456.
Thank you for your support in keeping the Post Clean and safe
Thanks again comrades.
Why We're Here
VFW Post 2266 brings a lot of help and opportunity to our veterans. We also have things to offer to our community, such as fundraising for local school sports teams and programs like J.R.O.T.C. VFW Harbour-Record Post 2266 holds regular Veteran Events as well as Civilian Events that can be scheduled in advance. Our VFW Post also has an in-house canteen to provide refreshments for those events. For our veterans we can offer services such as assistance with V.A. disability claims and even liaison with other agencies to get Veterans in need the help they require and deserve. Members enjoy lively weekends at VFW Post 2266 with either live music or karaoke on Friday's. We enjoy broadcasting sporting events on our big screen TV as well as the flat screen in the canteen. Our VFW Auxiliaries do a wonderful job preparing meals on a daily basis at a nominal price. There are games to be played at VFW Post 2266 such as regular dart tournaments but also areas to be enjoyed as a family such as our children's playground.
